Zoccer Responsible Gambling & Self-Exclusion
What the operator's responsible gambling page actually offers, what it leaves out, and the Australian services that help regardless of which site you play on.

01 / WHAT ZOCCER PUBLISHES
A page, a footer line and four organisations
Zoccer runs a dedicated Responsible Gaming page and repeats a short disclaimer in the footer: 18+ and a note that gambling can be addictive. The page describes the operator's own offer in general terms and then points readers to outside help.
The organisations listed are GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous, Gambling Therapy and NetNanny, the last being a parental-control tool rather than a counselling service. GamCare is a British service. Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy operate internationally. None of the four is an Australian gambling help service.
One route is documented in the operator's own words: self-exclusion by writing to the support team at [email protected]. There is no self-service form, no activation button and no confirmation step described on the page.
Read alongside §2.3 of the Terms — Australia is not an excluded jurisdiction and AUD is supported — the absence of any Australian help contact is worth noting on its own.
02 / WHAT IS MISSING
No dials to turn
Most licensed operators let a player cap deposits before the first deposit, set a loss limit, or ask for a session reminder. None of those tools appears on the page reviewed on 27 October 2026. The only intervention available to a player is to ask support to close the account.
That shifts the whole burden of control onto the person gambling. A limit set by the player before the money is gone is a different instrument from a limit the platform enforces; here there is no platform-enforced limit to rely on, so the plan has to be built outside the site.
It also affects the way the operator's self-exclusion works. Because the request is an email rather than a flag on the account, a player who changes their mind can write again, and the responsibility for not opening a new account is explicitly placed on the player rather than on the operator.
Casino Guru's July 2026 review reaches a similar conclusion, listing "limited responsible gaming options" among the drawbacks. That is a third-party observation, dated separately from our own reading.
No self-service daily, weekly or monthly deposit cap was found on the page or in the Terms.
Nothing in the reviewed page lets a player stop at a set loss amount.
No timer, no reminder, no forced break after a set period of play.
The only route is an email to [email protected]. There is no online form and no instant switch.
03 / SELF-EXCLUSION BY EMAIL
What the request should contain
The operator directs players to contact the support team at [email protected]. The page does not publish a form, a template or a confirmation procedure, so the request is only as clear as the email you write.
State the ask unambiguously: close the account permanently, block marketing contact, and do not reopen it. Include your username and the email registered to the account. Ask for written confirmation and keep it — the Terms place responsibility for not opening a new account on the player.
Also worth doing at the same time: ask for your deposit method to be removed, unsubscribe from promotional email, and clear any saved payment details in your browser. An account closure does not by itself stop marketing that was already scheduled.
If the request is followed by a new account opened in a moment of resolve breaking down, the operator has said in advance whose responsibility that is. Treat the email as one layer, not the whole plan — the next section covers what else to put in place.
Route published on the operator's Responsible Gaming page and in the Terms, read 27 October 2026. Response times for closure requests are not published.
Closing a Zoccer account does not block other operators. Gambling Help Online can talk through wider options, including local self-exclusion arrangements, on 1800 858 858.
04 / AUSTRALIAN HELP
Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858
Gambling Help Online is the national service for people in Australia: free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day on 1800 858 858. The website at gamblinghelponline.org.au offers chat, email and information for the person gambling and for families.
Both the number and the 24/7 availability were checked on 27 October 2026. The operator's own page does not link to this service, which is exactly why the number is printed here rather than buried at the bottom of the page.
If money has already gone and the problem is debt rather than gambling, a financial counsellor is the next call — free and independent, through the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007. If someone is in immediate danger, 000.
Existing customers of a gambling product can also use the self-exclusion options run outside the operator: Gambling Help Online can explain what is available in your state or territory.
05 / LIMITS YOU CONTROL
If the platform will not cap you, something else has to
A casino without deposit limits turns a budget into a decision you make every time you log in, and decisions get worse when you are losing. The fix is to move the decision somewhere it cannot be revisited in the moment.
Practical layers, in order of how hard they are to undo: a separate account or card used only for gambling with a fixed balance; a weekly transfer rather than a card on file; a written monthly figure that includes losses as part of the cost; a timer for sessions, kept outside the site; and blocking software on the device or router.
The operator's own page names NetNanny, a parental-control tool, as one of its help links. Blocking software is a blunt instrument, but a blunt instrument that works is worth more than a limit that never appears in the account settings.
Bank-level controls are usually stronger than either: many Australian banks and card issuers let you block gambling merchant categories or set transaction limits in their app. That control sits outside any casino's terms, which is the point.
Use a dedicated card or account for gambling with a fixed balance. Never the account your rent comes out of.
Many Australian issuers let you block gambling merchants or set card limits in their app — outside the casino's control.
No reality check exists on the platform. Use an alarm on the phone, and stop when it rings.
Blocking software on the device or router works whether or not the operator cooperates.
06 / WARNING SIGNS
The moment to ask for help is earlier than it feels
Gambling harm rarely arrives in a single loss. It builds from small changes in behaviour — a bet you would not have made a year ago, a limit you raised, a story you told about where the money went.
The list opposite is the one to check against, honestly, if a page like this one has been open on your screen for a while. None of it is a diagnosis; it is a reason to make a phone call that costs nothing.
If some of it sounds familiar, the number at the top of this page is answered around the clock, and the call is confidential. It is also fine to call on behalf of someone else.
Betting more to win back what was lost, rather than stopping for the day.
Deposits that exceed the figure you set before logging in, repeatedly.
Borrowing money, hiding statements, or not mentioning the account to your family.
Gambling to manage stress, boredom or grief rather than for entertainment.
Thinking about the next session through the working day, or struggling to stop after a win.
Bills, rent or groceries paid late because of gambling.
07 / UNDER 18 AND FAMILY
Accounts are for adults only, and the tools are thin
Zoccer's footer carries an 18+ notice. Access controls behind that notice are the operator's business, and nothing in the reviewed documents describes age verification at registration beyond a checkbox confirming the player is 18.
If you are a parent or a partner, the practical tools are the ones that do not depend on the casino: device-level and router-level filters, a family sharing check on app store purchases, and a conversation earlier than feels comfortable. The operator's page points to NetNanny for exactly this use.
For a young person already gambling, Gambling Help Online takes calls from family members and can explain what support exists locally. That is a better first step than confronting an account directly.
Device and router filters work across every gambling site, not just the one you know about.
Cards, wallets and crypto transfers all leave a record. A bank statement is often the first place harm shows.
Gambling Help Online advises relatives too, on the same 24/7 number.
